We haven't been in Chinese Restaurant in a long time. The foid was pretty good. Big Restaurant with a lot of room for families. We saw many families with children in here. We were told the restaurant has been here over 26 years. We had the appetizer platter and pad Thai with vegetables. We also had sweet tea. There is free parking in the and street parking which you have to pay.

I ordered a large fried rice and order of chicken wings, two California rolls and one egg roll total of 40+ dollars. When I got home the fried rice taste like white rice. They just threw on some soy sauce and some vegetables. It was absolutely disgusting. The chicken wings tasted like Wings they had from yesterday and just threw them back in the oil to make them hot again. they tasted disgusting and burnt like they have been fried in 10 day old oil and last, but not least they were not pleasing to the eyes. The California roll and the egg roll Were average. I used to order from this restaurant all the time and took a break as I was eating more natural foods. I ordered this as a treat for myself and my family but I regret it wish I had the energy to drive back there and ask for a refund.

Love the decor ..red is my favorite color. Customer service was good. Food appealing to the eye (see photos) but taste was lacking. Almost everything ordered was bland. Where is the seasoning or a little salt? My daughter found a hair in her soup -yep that's a mess. We didn't return it or complain. Went in to try something different and I was very disappointed so won't be visiting again. Edit March /12/2026.In your initial response you basically apologized for the HAIR in my daughter's soup. In your edited response you deleted your acknowledgement what does say about your response or accountability? Anyone reading this post if you get hair in your food COMPLAIN because I didn't complain and return it the chef. You mention receipt and the cost of the food. Please see attached receipt of proof of what was paid. I think maybe I SHOULDN'T have added a TIP. Your restaurant should be called " So Far Goodbye"

Great, and authentically decorated Chinese restaurant. Deco consisted of paper lanterns, and walls painted to match the lanterns. The food was absolutely great and authentic. They served good portions where we all took leftover home. We were a group of 4. We ordered sesame chicken, pork lo mein, chicken with broccoli, beef broccoli, seafood sizzle, wonton soup, miso soup, sweet and sour soup all meals come eith white or brown rice. For appetizers we ordered crab rangoon and boneless spare rib tips. Everyone in my group was satisfied with thier food choice. Staff was great and attentive. Definitely going back again.

So Far So Good – Long Island, NY I visited So Far So Good after hearing a lot of buzz online and from a couple of friends. The name itself is clever and inviting, and the space definitely has that cool, trendy vibe. It’s the kind of place that feels like it’s trying to offer something different—something more modern and stylish than your typical café or brunch spot in the area. And to be fair, it succeeds in a few ways. But overall, for me, it was a mixed experience—hence the 3 stars. The interior is nice. Clean lines, good lighting, and a kind of laid-back, “Instagram-friendly” atmosphere. There’s greenery, cute tables, and a warm, welcoming layout. It’s a spot that makes you want to sit and stay a while. A lot of people were on laptops or hanging out with friends, and the place definitely gives off a creative, slightly upscale coffee shop feel. The service was okay. Staff were polite but not very warm or enthusiastic. It felt a little rushed, even though the place wasn’t packed when I came in. I didn’t get much help when I asked for a recommendation, and the whole interaction at the counter felt kind of transactional. Not rude at all—just not the kind of customer experience th
